Grant - Fundamentals of Violoncello Technique, Vol. 1 - First and Half Positions

This 3 Volume progressive method has been designed to provide a modern and practical approach to the art of cello playing, drawing in part from the pedagogical literature of 19th Century masters with editorial additions and refinements by Francis Grant, a member of the Cleveland Orchestra under Nikolai Sokoloff and Arthur Rodzinski. Volume 1 focuses on the first and half positions, as well as the development of bowing.
