Moody Mary, Early Intermediate Level - Victoria Sabo (OUT OF PRINT)

Moody Mary is a set of variations on Mary Had a Little Lamb. Mary and her little lamb frolic along with many musical twists and turns until they ultimately boogie down in the final variation. Mary's melody passes from the RH to the LH and thus challenges the performer to balance accordingly. This set of variations incorporates plenty of fun, patterned cross-overs which are quickly learned and easily played by small hands. Different tempos, modes, dynamics and articulations create the many moods of Mary!

A fun and challenging assignment is to see if the student can come up with their own variation after they have learned the piece.
