Hollywood Dreams captures the dream of stardom. The trumpet-like fanfare in "Lights! Camera! Action!" transports the performer and audience to the red carpet at a movie premiere. Marilyn Monroe, the epitome of 1950s glamour, is beautifully portrayed in the lyrical, haunting melody of "Marilyn's Theme." The final movement, "Tinseltown Toccata," brings the suite to an exciting finish and creates a "film noir" atmosphere of mystery and excitement.
