This is possibly the most famous trumpet etude collection of the 20th Century. It has been re-engraved and edited by Jean-Marie Cottet and Rob Roy McGregor. Used extensively by Pierre Thibaud in his teaching, a number of recordings of Pierre playing the etudes with piano accompaniment composed by Jean-Marie Cottet are available on YouTube as are remarkable recordings by Håkan Hardenberger. Utilizing the accompaniments (available from Balquhidder Music/Carl Fischer) they can also now be used as jury or recital pieces to great advantage
