Danzas Cubanas of Ignacio Cervantes 37 Works for Solo Guitar in Standard Notation by Elias Barreiro
The thirty-eight Danzas Cubanas of Ignacio Cervantes (1847-1905) were originally written for the piano and conceived as "a page in the album of the Romantic Century". Together with improvised components, this music reflects the popular melodic and rhythmic unity which reached its apex in Cuban dances as performed at dance academies. This edition presents all 38 engaging pieces in standard notation for solo guitar.
