I am not sure I can write up the 12 Famous Technical Studies by Herman Bellstedt any better than the expert Frank Simon who wrote: “Of the many methods and etudes that have been written for the cornet and trumpet, none contributed as much to my success as a cornetist than the Twelve TEchnical Stuides by Herman Bellstedt. He was a master of the instrument and it contains a wealth of valuable and proven studies which, if studied diligently, will develop the tone, endurance and technique to a remarkable degree. They are an indispensible part of daily practise and no ambitions player should be without them.”
