Buckle-up because Ensemble 3 will take you for a ride. These pieces require the student to move freely with finger dexterity, hone their listening skills to detail, find the coordination between partners, all in order to present an artistic approach. The prior series provide students with an opportunity to play the piano with others, but Ensemble 3 showcases partnerships and abilities. These duets allow Intermediate piano students to play either the Secondo or Primo positions and it is actually encouraged to learn both sides in order to increase awareness, flexibility, and teamwork.
